UsAgainstAlzheimer’s chair and co-founder George Vradenburg released the following statement on the death of music legend and Alzheimer’s champion, Tony Bennett:

“Tony Bennett’s legendary career has left an indelible mark in the music world, but in sharing his personal story he also made a difference in the Alzheimer’s world. Mr. Bennett and his family bravely shared with the world their experience of living with Alzheimer’s, raising awareness of this deadly disease in a way few can in hopes of helping others. We are tremendously grateful for that as we mourn the loss of one of the world’s great people.”
