UsAgainstAlzheimer’s Appoints New Director of Strategic Initiatives
Washington, DC (September 3, 2024) —UsAgainstAlzheimer’s is pleased to announce the appointment of Catherine Patterson as the new Director of Strategic Initiatives. With her extensive experience in policy analysis, strategic planning, and partnership building, Patterson demonstrates an ability to lead initiatives that drive meaningful impact and change.
In this role, Patterson will manage several strategic projects, working closely with the executive team to successfully integrate the work across the organization and ensure effective execution of the organization’s strategic plan.
Since 2014, Patterson held several leadership positions at the de Beaumont Foundation, including Co-Executive Director, CityHealth, Director of Operations and Managing Director of Urban Health and Policy. She also led legislative campaigns at the Pew Charitable Trusts, resulting in significant public health advancements and policy change.

Patterson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Studies from Social Policy Hobart and William Smith Colleges, and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Maryland, College Park.
